Final work on the Project

My final work on the project before submission has been getting the second character rigged and then animated in game.


For this I again took the character into mixamo to get it rigged and then into unreal and then had to map both character rigs so they could work together. Not sure if this is the most efficient way of doing it but I then got the remapped animations for the tiki character (which are themselves duplicates of the pirate animations which have been set to the tiki character) and then made a completely separate animation blueprint and blendspace for the tiki character.


After doing this I then just had to set the changes between player 1 and 2 in the ThirdPersonBP code which Jade had done to have 2 different meshes however it turned out that she’d only set it up for changing the skeletal meshes so I had to add extra code for the change of material on the character and the animation blueprint.
