Pre-production (Overview)

During the idea phase we all worked together on whiteboards and mind maps to come up with ideas. One main thing we wanted for our game was a very low scope we could add onto so after a few other game ideas we decided on a game inspired by dodgeball. I believe it was my idea for a moving barrier and for the win condition to be once the barrier has moved all the way to the other player's side but during this phase we all added in ideas and added on to others to enhance them.
When it came to deciding roles Jade was very enthusiastic to take both Lead programmer and Project manager but later on due to stress moved away from Project manager and Abbie took the brunt of the coding, Harrison and Abbie took the Art roles as they are both fantastic and art (with Abbie also taking the secondary and later primary coding role) and me and James both did modelling roles but with James wanting to branch out more in the project he took a more generalist role with me taking lead modeller which was okay with me due to my experience with low poly modelling.
